The first annual Easter EGGbert Eggstravaganza was a rousing success! Although I am sure every child that attended is now in a sugar coma, great fun was had by all! The Grandparent's hung out on the couch just enjoying everyone "buzzing" around them! 
Alex was so pleased because she was able to see her mom for the first time in a long time! They had a really nice visit and both of them were beaming!
We decorated Easter bags, spaghetti carbonara & deviled eggs (along with a lot of other delicious treats), had an Easter Egg hunt & decorated yummy cookies! 
All the kids ended up with a big bag of loot - tons of prizes (and money)! I even heard a few of them grumbling that they did NOT want to leave! I am so glad we had such a wonderful turn-out! The bar has been raised so I better get started on planning for next year! After the Eggstravaganza, Mom was POOPED...I guess four days of baking, dying eggs, making prize bags & stuffing plastic Easter Eggs take a lot out of a lady! Alex was sweet enough to watch Haley for a couple hours while Mom took a much needed cat nap. Haley was also EXHAUSTED from the exciting day! You know it is hard work being so sweet & cute at the same time! Mom did not manage to get many photos of the event today (something about running around like a chicken with your head cut off impedes the photo taking process) so you we will have to make do with these few until I get pictures from some of the other guests! You planned so well and it all came off beautifully! What an Egg-citing day! I think I can take a year off from eggs for now!
