So I must begin by giving special props to my husband for picking out Haley's outfit all by himself today - no premade bags, no clipped together skirts & shirts - he picked each individual piece and the outfit not only matched but it was adorable! Kudos!
Today we spent the day at home playing inside, and out! The weather was great and we were blessed by wonderful company so we took full advantage of it! Makenna came over to play early this morning. Emily had spent the night so she was at the house too. Alex & Emily had a great time playing with the girls while Dad & I cleaned up an inflatable pool I purchased off of Craigslist for $5.
All the girls had a great time.
They even sat on the couch and read together.
In the afternoon we invited Renee, Chloe & Annie over and we all went in the backyard to play in the new pool.
Howie had come to pick up Makenna so he was able to join in on the fun too!
Makenna & Haley LOVED the pool! It is really neat - it has a slide, a ring toss game and you can hook ahose up so water squirts out in different places - whats not to love?
Haley keep making her cheesy grins and Makenna was splashing and laughing and just having a fantastic time! So cute!
After all the girls were swimmed out Haley's baby friends went home and Haley took a nap. It was a really fun afternoon and I can not wait to do it again tomorrow!
I LOVE the new faces! What fun you must have had those spontaneous visits are sometimes more fun than the planned events. Looking forward to more time with the family, soon, please.
