Haley was not feeling so hot today. She did not have a fever but she just was not herself. She was very fussy and seemed quite uncomfortable most of the day :( I eventually gave her some gas drops & Tylenol and hoped one or both would ease her troubles. Seemed to do the trick she took a nice long nap in the afternoon and seemed a little more like her cheery self in the evening. I hope my little princess is feeling better tomorrow. On the bright side I was able to sneak away for a bit with Grandma Egbert and it was really nice. I love talking to her. She always helps me have a better perspective my new extended family. I am so blessed to have so many people around me to support me! The only reason I make it through each day is having the love and support of my family and friends. Thanks for sticking with me through all the twists and turns!

Dinner With Uncle
Makenna came over this morning again. The girls had a great time playing together as always!
I was sitting on the couch eating an english muffin with cream cheese and Makenna was eating a string cheese, I looked over and noticed that she kept dipping her string cheese in my cream cheese and sucking it off :) Kristine said "Just like my girl to dip cheese in cheese" :)
Tonight I met RJ at DiNicolas Italian restaurant.
I have been looking forward to having dinner with Uncle since we planned it. Talking to Uncle always helps me organize my thoughts and plan the next steps I need to take. He is a great calming influence in my life and I feel so fortunate to have him in my circle of support! Haley loves Uncle too!
They always have so much fun together!
I love watching the mutual admiration. I love seeing Uncle laugh and gush over my sweet girl :)

Makenna & The Final Circle of Security
Went a little photo crazy today - boo hoo, I know!
I was trying out some different settings with the new camera and got some really good shots!
Makenna came over this morning to play with Haley.
The two girls played together in the ball pit.
It was hilarious because Makenna would play with Haley for a bit and then she would look up and see the frog eyes and get scared -her little lip would quiver...
Then she would forget and start playing again (until the next time)...it was too funny!
Makenna went down for a nap and the early interventionist came and worked with Haley. We made new goals for the next 6 months. We are working on crawling and pulling up to stand. Haley continues to impress her! After Intervention and naps the girls shared some yogurt melts & played with me on the couch. Apparently I am a magnet for cute things!
After Makenna went home Haley & I left to Grammy's. Merinell (who lived next door to me when I was growing up) came and met Haley. It was very nice to see her! Haley went to Sandy's concert with Grammy & Papa while I went to my last Circle of Security. I will actually miss going. It was really nice to have parent's to talk to that I felt understood my challenges. I realized how therapeutic it was and I will miss it.

Taco Night
Today we spent the afternoon at home because we had a meeting with Haley's attorney. Haley's attorney thought everything looked great and was very pleased with her progress! Haley still loves her frog ball pit! She loves sitting in there grabbing all the balls and clashing them together. She is such an adorable princess!
After the lawyer and a little more playing we went with Daddy to go grocery shopping - Haley ate a Ritz cracker while we shopped the aisles :) After getting our groceries we headed home to make Taco's so Grandma & Grandpa could come over!
We had a nice dinner and visit before it was time for the Sweet One to go to bed!

Pug Crawl
Today Dad & I took Haley & Tank to the "Pug Crawl" at Mactarnahan's Tap Room. It is a really fun event where all Pug lovers gather to socialize and love our little furry friends! There was a pug costume contest that was so cute! They had all sorts of pugs dressed up as all sorts of wild characters!
They had Diva Pugs...
Mermaid Pugs...
Even Frog Pugs.
Some of my other favorites were a wagonful of pug "lobsters" - aptly named the "Deadliest Catch" and two pugs one was a farmer and the other a watermelon - too cute! :) After all sorts of pettings & snortings & droolings we were ready to go! It was a lot of fun but TOO hot! Mom looks forward to the event every year!

Frog Ball Pit
This afternoon we picked up Alex from her slumber party and let her bring a friend home too - she's a lucky girl!
Alex and her friend, Deja, watched Haley and let Roy & I spend some time alone and run some errands. In the evening, Grandpa & Grandma Egbert stopped by to have some pizza.
Grandpa was not feeling well and went to check himself in at the VA for observation so he did not eat pizza but he did get some Haley love - which we all know is the best medicine!
We love Grandpa and hope he feels better in a jiffy! After Grandpa left, Grandma & I went to look at kiddie pools and get Alex a pair of shorts. We did not get a pool (well at least not one we are going to use as a pool) but Grandma got Haley the cutest frog "ball pit."
It was super cute because Grandma picked it because she thought Grammy would like it :) I love that they love each other so much! It is so sweet that she thought about Grammy when she saw it was a frog! Haley loves the ball put and probably could sit in it all day picking up balls and clashing them together. Even though she was very tired she stayed up just having a ball (I am my mother's child)
We also did get Alex a couple really cute pairs of shorts - I am happy that she has a few clothes for this amazing weather! I can hardly believe how hot it got today! Definitely going to need to find an actual kiddie pool soon! :)

Seaside

On the way to Seaside Mom had to take a photo of this road sign - funny I thought he was right next to me in the car ;)
Mom sat in back with Haley most of the way to the beach. She is SO cute!
I had so much fun tickling her and taking photos!
When we got to Seaside, Dad did his job while the rest of us took a walk. When Dad was done it was time to hit the beach! Haley liked her first steps on the beach :)
There was a swing set on the sand and Haley had a great time!
She even got to swing with Daddy!
After swinging we walked down to the water.
It was a beautiful day & a fantastic way to spend an afternoon!
It was fun to just get away for a day and enjoy being with most of my family. I can not wait until we can take Alex with us too!
